Riders Unable to Purchase or Reload ORCA Cards at Vending Machines

RESOLVED Fri 8/28/2026 6:13 PM PT: Service has been restored to ORCA ticket vending machines. Customers are now able to buy and reload ORCA cards.  

UPDATE Fri 8/28/2026 1:45PM PT: ORCA has identified the issue impacting vending machines and is working towards a solution. Please purchase paper tickets at vending machines or buy and reload ORCA cards online at myORCA.com or by visiting a Customer Service Center.

Fri 8/28/2026 10:30AM PT: ORCA is currently experiencing an issue with ticket vending machines. Customers are not able to purchase or reload ORCA cards at ticket vending machines but can still perform cash transactions and paper ticket sale transactions. The ORCA team will continue to provide updates and resolution information as it becomes available.
