Riders Unable to Add Funds or Buy Digital Cards in Google Wallet

Customers can now successfully purchase new digital ORCA cards and add funds to existing ORCA digital cards.

A limited number of Android customers may still be experiencing issues when purchasing funds or trying to add new ORCA digital cards, but the high failure rate has been resolved by a rollback of a configuration change by Google. The issue is greatly improved, and all issues should be resolved as customer phones are updated automatically by Google over the next few days.

Some Android customers may experience issues when trying to add funds to existing digital ORCA cards or buying new digital ORCA cards in Google Wallet. These issues may prevent new cards from being added to Google Wallet successfully or being unable to add additional funds to existing digital ORCA cards in Google Wallet.

 

We recommend using myORCA.com or the myORCA app to load funds to existing digital ORCA cards as an alternative.
