How to transfer your digital ORCA Card to another Android Phone

 

HELPFUL TIPS: Before you get started, here is some helpful information about transferring a digital ORCA card between Android phones.

 

  • To transfer an ORCA card between Android phones, you must currently have a digital ORCA card loaded in Google Wallet on an Android phone.
  • You can only transfer a digital ORCA card between Android devices, it cannot be transferred to a device with a different operating system
  • For security purposes, transferring a digital ORCA card between devices can be done a limited number of times. When you transfer your ORCA card to a new device be sure that it is a device you plan to use going forward.

 

Here is how to transfer your digital ORCA Card to another Android phone:

 

Start by making sure the device where your card is currently stored, “Device A”, is turned on, with the ORCA card in your Google Wallet open, as shown below:

  1. Log into the Google account associated with your old “Device A” on your new device “Device B”
  2. Open Google Wallet and tap the “+ Add to Wallet” button.
  3. Then tap “Transit Pass”.
  4. Search ORCA and select ORCA from the list of transit passes.

5. The pass from “Device A” will appear in the next screen; tap on the card you want to transfer to “Device B”.

6. Make sure “Device A” is turned on and connected to the internet and tap “Continue” to start the transfer.

7. You will receive a confirmation when the transfer is complete. Tap “View in Wallet” to start using your card on your new device, “Device B”.
